Karlie, Dal, and myself have really enjoyed getting to know this area....and coal creek falls, a few minutes outside of Seattle quickly became one of our many "favorites". Not sure why, but I seem to gravitate toward painting waterfalls☺.

My wife, Karlie, spotted this building on a family drive a while back and I was glad she did. I found some elements in it that I thought would make a nice painting. I had to rework the values several times, but overall I was pleased with how it turned out. I have always been fascinated with these older buildings.
